These 2 original pieces were created for the newly renovated Centurion Lounge, drawing from the dense fog and dramatic elevations of San Francisco to evoke a sense of home while enlivening a spirit for adventure. Her artistic style channels aspects of Chinese brush painting, abstraction, with some architectural sensibilities sprinkled throughout, giving voice to her ever evolving relationship with faith, ethnicity, and narrative. Tracie’s aesthetic continues to be formed by the beauty and intricacies of the different cultures around her. The lines undulate in and out of visibility and reality while the paint provides shelter and contrast, allowing the paintings to maintain an assuring familiarity while remaining otherworldly.

Resembling nature, fractals, complex patterns or forms, Tracie’s paintings are inspired by all the wondrous and regular things around us. She very consciously observes the life around her-absorbing stories and experiences-and subconsciously watches them unfold onto the canvas.
